IT, Proxmox & ISP Solutions — Fiji

Netcraft has been working in Fiji for over a decade. Our Pacific branch in Suva is staffed by local engineers, with full backing from our Adelaide head office and a 24×7 on-call roster shared between the two teams.

What we deliver in Fiji

Telcos, ISPs, banks, government departments and large corporates in Fiji rely on Netcraft for production-grade Linux engineering, Proxmox virtualisation, ISP billing and provisioning (our Tarka platform is in production at Fijian ISPs today), USSD applications for banking and mobile services, and the always-on infrastructure support that Pacific operators need.

Our Suva office gives customers a local point of presence: engineers who can be on-site within hours, who understand local regulations and supplier relationships, and who answer phone calls in Fiji time without escalation delays.

Why Pacific operators choose Netcraft

Most Australian IT consultancies treat the Pacific as out-of-scope or sub-contract it to a third party in Sydney. We don’t. Fiji is one of our two head offices, with engineers, address and phone number on the ground in Suva.

  • Engineers physically in Suva with local knowledge of vendors, freight, customs and regulators (TAF, Reserve Bank of Fiji where relevant).
  • Designs that assume Pacific realities: satellite or limited-bandwidth backup links, intermittent power, regional cyclone preparation, and Southern Cross / Tonga / Hawaiki cable awareness.
  • Hardware procurement and shipping handled end-to-end. We have the supplier relationships and the customs experience to land kit in Fiji without cost surprises.
  • Pricing in FJD or AUD, on Pacific business terms; we don’t import the friction of an Australian-only billing model.

Data sovereignty in Fiji

Increasingly, Fijian customers — particularly in banking and government — need workloads that stay on Fijian soil and run on platforms they fully control. Proxmox VE, with its open-source AGPLv3 licence and on-island deployment, is a natural fit for this requirement, and we have built multiple in-country production clusters that meet local data-sovereignty obligations.

We also support hybrid designs that keep regulated workloads in-country while allowing dev/test or DR replicas in Australia under properly negotiated cross-border arrangements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Netcraft located in Fiji?

Our Pacific branch is at 28 Rewa Street, Flagstaff, Suva. The office is staffed by local engineers and is the Pacific dispatch point for any on-island work.

Do you only support customers in Suva, or all of Fiji?

All of Fiji. We routinely fly engineers to Nadi, Lautoka, Labasa and remote sites for installs, audits and incident response. Most ongoing operations are delivered remotely to wherever the customer’s equipment lives.

Can we have data hosted in-country in Fiji?

Yes. We design and operate Proxmox clusters physically in Fiji for customers who need workloads to remain on Fijian soil for regulatory or contractual reasons. Where appropriate we pair this with cross-border DR replicas to Australia.

What hours is your Fiji team available?

Standard business hours in Suva, with 24×7 on-call shared with our Adelaide head office. The Fiji landline (+679 910 3566) is monitored 24×7 for active support contracts.

Do you operate elsewhere in the Pacific?

Yes — we serve Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and other Pacific Island countries from a combination of our Fiji and Adelaide offices. See our PNG and Solomon Islands location pages for specifics.
