Netcraft Australia has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification. The audit was conducted by TQCSI, an Australian certification body — and a Netcraft customer of many years, so it was a pleasure to have the tables turned and be the ones under assessment.
ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems. Certification means an independent auditor has verified that the way Netcraft scopes, delivers and reviews work follows documented, repeatable processes — and that we measure ourselves against them. For customers, the practical outcome is consistency: the same quality of engineering whether the job is a support ticket or a multi-site network build, with service response times that are tracked and reviewed rather than promised and forgotten.
We took a different path to certification than most. Rather than adopting an off-the-shelf quality management system and asking staff to feed a second tool, Netcraft built the QMS into the CRM and ticketing system we develop in house. Quality records, process checkpoints and corrective actions live inside the workflow our engineers already use every day, so following the system is the path of least resistance instead of extra paperwork. The auditors assessed the system as we actually run it.
Certification is a floor, not a finish line. The standard commits us to continuous improvement of our business and engineering processes, and the same system that satisfied the audit is what surfaces the things we can do better. Our Quality Policy sets out those commitments in full.
